Troubleshooting Payment Failures
# Troubleshooting Payment Failures

If your payment fails on Passes, it usually means the payment method could not be approved by your bank, card provider, or payment processor.

## Common reasons payments fail

The card details were entered incorrectly.

The card is expired or no longer active.

The bank declined the transaction.

There are insufficient funds or spending limits on the card.

The payment method is not supported for the purchase.

The billing address or ZIP code does not match the card.

The transaction was blocked for security reasons.

## What to try

Check that your card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing ZIP code are correct.

Try the payment again after a few minutes.

Use a different payment method.

Contact your bank or card provider to confirm they are not blocking the charge.

Make sure your card supports online purchases and recurring payments, if you are buying a membership.

##If the checkout window or payment screen is not working
- Refresh the page or close and reopen the app.
- Make sure popups/redirects are allowed for Passes.
- Try an incognito/private browser window.
- Clear browser cache and cookies, then try again.
- Disable ad blockers, VPNs, or browser extensions temporarily.
- Try another browser, device, or network.
- Make sure the app/browser is updated.
- If a bank verification/3DS screen appears, complete it before returning to Passes.
- Do not click the purchase button repeatedly.
## Membership payment failures

If a membership renewal payment fails, your access may be paused or canceled depending on the billing status. Update your payment method as soon as possible to keep access to the creator’s membership.

For more about memberships, renewals, and cancellations, see Fan subscriptions.

## If you were charged but do not have access

If you see a charge from Passes but your purchase, membership, or content access is missing, check whether you used a different email or account during checkout.

If you used Guest Checkout, you may need to activate your account with the same email used at checkout. For more help, see Guest Checkout Guide.

## If the issue continues

If your payment still fails after trying the steps above, contact Passes Support. Include the purchase you were trying to make, the creator’s name, the payment method type, and any error message you saw.
