Create and manage memberships
Creators can create memberships to give fans recurring access to exclusive content, messaging benefits, and other perks.
## Create a membership
1. Go to Creator Tools.
2. Select Manage Memberships.
3. Select Create Membership.
4. Choose a membership template or customize your own membership.
5. Add the membership title, media, and description.
6. Set the price.
7. Choose the membership type:
- Subscription
- Lifetime
8. Set the number of free messages included, if any.
9. Set a limited number of memberships, or choose Unlimited.
10. Choose whether the membership should be Live or Hidden.
11. Save your membership.
## Subscription plan options
For subscription memberships, fans can choose from monthly, quarterly, or annual plans when those options are available.
Creators can offer discounts for quarterly and annual subscription plans.
## Membership limits
You can limit how many fans can purchase a membership, or make the membership unlimited.
If a limited membership has available spots again, fans can purchase those spots without you needing to manually add more.
## Keep subscribers engaged
To build stronger memberships:
- Write clear descriptions so fans know what they get.
- Post consistently.
- Reply to messages and engage with fan feedback.
- Adjust your offerings based on what fans respond to.
