Complete KYC verification

To unlock Creator features on Passes, you may need to complete identity verification, also known as KYC or Know Your Customer verification. KYC helps Passes confirm who is using the platform, protect creators and fans, and support account and payout safety. ## Before you start Have these ready: <ul> <li>A valid, unexpired government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver's license.</li> <li>A device with a working camera.</li> <li>Good lighting so your ID and face are clear.</li> <li>Access to the email address and phone number connected to your Passes account.</li> </ul> ## 1. Start the creator verification flow <ol> <li>Go to Passes and sign in to your account.</li> <li>Select Become a Creator or continue the creator application flow if you already started it.</li> <li>Complete the required account setup steps shown on-screen.</li> </ol> ## 2. Complete your basic information Enter your information carefully, including your username, display name, birthday, and any other required fields. Make sure the information you provide matches your official documents. Small errors can slow down verification or cause your submission to fail. ## 3. Connect your social media accounts Connect the social media accounts tied to your content. These accounts may need to be public so they can be reviewed.</).p> Once verified, connected accounts may be displayed on your public profile, except for Discord. ## 4. Verify your phone number Add your phone number and complete the verification step if prompted. ## 5. Complete identity verification Follow the on-screen prompts to submit your government-issued ID and complete the required selfie check. For your ID: <ul> <li>Use the original physical document. Do not use photocopies, screenshots, replicas, or edited images.</li> <li>Make sure the ID is not expired.</li> <li>Show all four corners of the ID.</li> <li>Keep all text and details clear and readable.</li> <li>Avoid glare, blur, shadows, or cropped images.</li> </ul> For your selfie: <ul> <li>Take the selfie live when prompted.</li> <li>Use bright, even lighting.</li> <li>Remove anything blocking your face, such as hats, masks, or sunglasses.</li> <li>Do not use an existing photo, recording, screenshot, or edited image.</li> </ul> ## 6. Accept the required terms Complete any required terms or agreement step shown in the creator application flow. ## 7. Wait for verification review After you submit your verification, Passes will review it. Verification is typically completed within 72 hours. If your verification is still under review, wait for the review to finish before submitting another request. ## If verification fails or is canceled If the verification process is canceled, use the retry option in the verification flow. Each verification step allows up to 4 attempts to retry your Government ID and up to 4 attempts to retry your selfie. If your verification keeps failing, please stop retrying and contact Passes Support for help. Repeated failed attempts may trigger additional security review or limits. For security, only submit ID documents through the official verification flow. Do not send your password, verification codes, ID photos, selfies, or sensitive documents through chat or email unless Passes Support gives you an approved secure path. ## Age requirement Individuals under 18 are not eligible to apply as a Creator on Passes.
