Where Creator Applications Are Currently Available
You can apply as a creator if your country is supported during verification. Right now, creator applications cannot be approved from the following countries:
- Afghanistan
- Algeria
- Belarus
- Burundi
- Central African Republic
- Comoros
- Cuba
- Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
- Eritrea
- Iran
- Iraq
- Lesotho
- Libya
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Nigeria
- North Korea
- Palestine
- Papua New Guinea
- Paraguay
- Russia
- Somalia
- South Sudan
- Sudan
- Syria
- Ukraine
- Venezuela
- Yemen
## Why some countries are not currently supported
This comes down to two things:
- **U.S. sanctions rules**
- **Our ability to pay out creator earnings reliably**
In some places, the rules do not allow us to work with creators. In others, the payout options available are not dependable enough yet.
## How country eligibility is checked
During verification, the country on your **government ID** is what is reviewed. If your government ID shows one of the countries listed above, your creator application cannot move forward right now.
## What this means
This is not about you or the quality of your work. It is about where Passes is currently able to operate.
If your country is **not** on the list above, you can apply. Approval still depends on verification and eligibility.
## If you are already a creator in one of these countries
If you are already a creator on Passes and you are in one of the countries listed above, your situation will be reviewed individually. Reach out to the Support & Safety team at **help@passes.com**.
## Can this change?
Yes. Sanctions rules and payout options can change over time, and this list is reviewed as those conditions change.
